Let’s rewind to 2018. I had just earned a degree in business management and marketing from a private university in Vienna and relocated to South Tyrol. Before long, I landed a job at one of the top full-service marketing agencies in the province. My first “real” job.

I was newly married and happy.

Then one ordinary afternoon, sitting at my desk, it hit me with the clarity of a neon sign blazing in the dark: Wing. My last name wasn’t just a name — it was a message. I wasn’t meant to be cooped up in an office. I needed the freedom to spread my wings and chase inspiration wherever it struck, whether at 5:47 a.m. in South Tyrol or 10:03 p.m. in California.

So, I did the thing you’re not supposed to do in your first “real” job: I quit. One month later, DINGSBUMS was born, and my freelance journey took flight.

Since then, I’ve worked with luxury hotels that smell like spruce, design studios that turn athletes into icons and apples into status symbols, sustainable brands that actually do their part and travel publishers whose books make me want to pack my bags and disappear for a few weeks.

There have been 11:53 p.m. edits and 6:34 a.m. epiphanies. Tight deadlines. Last-minute rewrites and blissfully smooth approvals. Through it all, I’ve met brilliant minds, unexpected collaborators and more than a few clients who’ve become friends.
